Zahra Mansouri graduated from Central Saint Martins in BA(Hons) Theatre Design for performance. Recent work includes: Costume Design for feature film The Good Neighbour (Black House Pictures); Costume Associate for designer Takis, Toxic Avenger (The Arts Theatre); Designer of Late Company (Trafalgar Studio 2, transfer from The Finborough); Associate Designer with Fourth Monkey Theatre Company, 5-show finale at the Edinburgh Fringe Space UK, and transfer to the Camden Fringe having designed over six months their three rep seasons at Monkey House; Costume Styling for Sleeping Trees, Movie Trilogy (Pleasance King Dome, BAC, and UK Tour); Holy Crap (Kings Head); Orlando, a devised site-specific National Trust tour, including Knole House and Hanbury Hall, with Clay and Diamonds and BFI’s Flare Season: The Queer Element; Costume Design for short film Shadow Plant (Black House Pictures).
Other work includes: Christmas show Scrooge and the Seven Dwarves (Theatre503); musical This Little Life of Mine (Park90) nominated for Best Set Design by Off West End; American Wife (The Park 90); Blood Wedding which opened the new venues for Theatre Cavantes; The Marked (Oval House and Pleasance King Dome); The Cause (Jermyn Street Theatre).
She was also Assistant to the Designer for Trevor Nunn’s King John (Rose Theatre).
Past productions include: Character (Tristan Bates Theatre); The Great Gatsby (Wilton’s Music Hall); Being Tommy Cooper (Old Red Lion).
