Construction Manager

Richard Morrell runs Morrell and Bert Ltd., a build and design workshop in London, with work ranging across architectural installation, set building for advertising and stills photography, music videos, TV and film, and theatre.

Notable recent credits/clients as Construction Manager include: Les Enfants Terribles’ Storyville; Radiohead’s ‘Lift’ music video; the re-brand build for Channel 5’s Milkshake; and Bonobo’s ‘No Reason’ music video – winner of a D&AD Award and currently nominated for two further production design awards.

Richard created acclaimed public architecture in London’s Kew Gardens and Southbank as Head Carpenter for Wayward, and has recently worked with the City of London and fluid Architecture on further public installations. Other work includes: a portfolio of permanent market stalls, designed and built by Morrell and Bert; press events for B&Q, Plumen Lighting, Not Another Bill and Mary Portas; and other immersive theatre and music video work for Avelin and wolf Alice; and Emma Brunjes’ Trigger Mortis: Unlocking Bond; Hammer House of Horror: Live; and Difference Engine’s Battlefield Hardline.
