As an actor, Oliver has worked across film, television and theatre, notably playing Kenny Everett in the BAFTA-winning The Best Possible Taste. Other credits include: Sherlock; Misfits; and Doctor Who.

Theatre credits include: The Quiet House (Birmingham Rep); The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (Park Theatre); and many productions with Les Enfants Terribles.

Oliver is founder and Artistic Director of Les Enfants Terribles. Work includes: Olivier-nominated Alice’s Adventures Underground; The Game’s Afoot; The Terrible Infants; The Trench; and The Vaudevillains. Oliver’s work has been translated into several languages.

A past winner of Channel Four’s Multi-Talented Award and a Broadcast Magazine Hotshot, Oliver is an accomplished film and television writer, co-creating BBC2 series Whites, and ITV2 series FM. He also works in the US with networks including HBO and FX.
