Fleur Rooth

 

Fleur is a founding Associate Artist of Zoo Co, established 2013. Zoo Co is an award-winning, internationally touring ensemble, making indoor and outdoor work for venues including, Greenwich Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith, Latitude, Shambala, Watford Palace, Komunitas Salihara (Jakarta), mac Birmingham, Pleasance (London, Edinburgh) & other UK venues.

Previous work with Zoo Co includes: Cora in Monotone Man; Scarlet in The Girl Who Fell in Love With The Moon; Julie in GIANT; and multiple roles in Groombridge Place’s Enchanted Forest immersive experience. Fleur also has multiple film credits including: Bridget Jones’ Baby; BBC’s Strike; Eiokay’s The Son; Last British Dragon’s The Sampson Killings; and The Light Princess for National Theatre and Ideastap.

Fleur is currently working on a mid-scale touring production with STFC and RAL Space, and is in research and development for Sirens, a feminist rebellion against gender expectations in 2017, as lead artist.

Training includes: National Youth Theatre – performing at The National Theatre under Paul Roseby’s direction, and the National Youth Film Academy. She is an active member of the AA Collective, training under Kath Burlinson, and is mentored by Lee Simpson (Improbable, Comedy Store Players). Fleur is also an accredited Personal Trainer and enjoys dance, yoga, martial arts and boxing in her spare time.
